At BestStart Lambie Drive, we were delighted to celebrate the special women in our children’s lives with our Mother’s and Grandmother’s Day High Tea on Friday, 8 May 2026.
The morning was filled with smiles, laughter, meaningful conversations, and special moments shared between children and their mothers, grandmothers, and whānau. Our tamariki were excited to welcome their loved ones into the centre and share part of their learning environment with them.
The High Tea created a warm and relaxing atmosphere where families could enjoy delicious treats, spend quality time together, and celebrate the love, care, and support that mothers and grandmothers provide every day.
Children proudly participated by helping prepare for the event and expressing their appreciation through songs, artwork, and thoughtful gestures.
Events like these strengthen our sense of community and belonging within the centre. We value the strong partnerships we build with families and appreciate everyone who took the time to join us for this special celebration.
