Even though many New Zealand families have been functioning in isolation these past weeks, nga tamariki who returned to Bay Kindy, during Level Three in May, got busy showing appreciation for their Mothers, Aunties, Grandmothers and Carers; making creative gifts for Mothers Day. From beautiful handprinted Floral Paintings, to Petal Laden Suncatchers and Beu-TEA-ful Teacup Greeting Cards, the children are all back in their ‘kindy’ element; chatting, cutting, pasting, sorting, questioning, painting, crafting, collecting and imagineering. It has been wonderful to see so many happy faces and to witness how well received their lovely gifts of appreciation were, when presented to whanau. We hope you all had a lovely Mothers Day and are enjoying the special moments, be it a simple cup of tea or taking time to smell the ‘roses. We are so enjoying reconnecting with all our families and looking forward to everyone returning in upcoming weeks. Our tamariki are so appreciative of the love and care they receive from all around them and thoroughly enjoyed making gifts for the special people they share their bubbles and their world with.

Stay safe and well. We are so grateful to all our families and tamariki, who are on this journey with us.
