At BestStart Rototuna, Mother's Day was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the special people in our children's lives.
Our tamariki enjoyed preparing heartfelt surprises for their mums, including handmade Mother's Day mugs created with love and care.
Children were excited to present their special gifts and celebrate the important role their mums play in their lives. During our celebration, teachers prepared cupcakes for mums and children to decorate together.
This provided a lovely opportunity for families to bond, share conversations, and enjoy a special activity side by side. Families also had fun posing together at our photo booth, creating happy memories and capturing special moments from the day.
The room was filled with smiles, laughter, and meaningful interactions as children proudly shared the activities with their mums. Experiences such as Mother's Day celebrations support children's social and emotional development in meaningful ways.
