BestStart Rototuna

At BestStart Rototuna, we have an expansive and generous outdoor environment and we value the learning that can be done only in nature.

By having open space where they are safe allows them to freely learn and explore. Being in nature is necessary for well-being and a generous outdoor space like ours can be calming and helpful when our tamariki are learning to understand their emotions.

Hidden at the end of a cul-de-sac you will find our outdoor oasis. We are deceiving from the street but when you come for a visit you will see just how generous our outdoor spaces are.

We encourage children to be guardians of nature and of their special learning place. We guide them in their curiosity and inquiry to help them have respect, understanding and appreciation of the natural world and its diversity. We believe that they can then apply what they learn about nature to many other contexts.
