Mothers day at Milson
At Beststart Milson Line we celebrated our Mothers/or special person by doing a lovely breakfast on the go, we did this the Friday before Mothers day, this was a great way to end the week, giving a takeaway coffee and muffin to kick start their day.
Our tamariki made special cards, our older children did it their way with kind words and flower paintings while our pepe did their handprints and an 'I love you' photo! These gifts and kai showed manaakitanga and aroha for our mamas/special person and for all they do.
Our events and celebrations at Milson Line Beststart are important to us to acknowledge and we take pride in sharing these with the whanau, tamariki and community. Kaiako ensure we take the time to share the importance of these special days with the tamariki and why we do it. I know our mamas/special people really appreciated the gifts and seeing their little people give.
We will continue to do this annually, and next time it will be for our Dads/Grandads or special person whoever the tamariki have as their dad or role model/special other in their lives. Aroha nui whanau, aroha nui e hoa from Best start Milson Line!
