Mothers Day Special

What a day to celebrate all the Mums at BestStart North Harbour! We made it extra special by organising a very special Mother's Day morning tea for them. We decorated the foyer with a garland of balloons, flowers, and photos of the children and teachers holding up printed letters that said "Happy Mothers Day".

Coffee, fresh baking, and fruits were made available to every mum. Some stayed to enjoy the refreshments and others took some to take away. It was such a beautiful day celebrating every mother and letting them know that we appreciate their hard work in raising beautiful human beings.

Our tamariki also made special cards for their Mums. It may sound simple but these cards showed drawings and writings of why they love their Mums. The children's art was very authentic and genuine and it showcased the beautiful relationship between a mother and a child. At North Harbour, we value the relationship we have with our tamariki and whanau, and we build trusting and respectful relationships with our families.
