My Dad is My Hero: A Heartfelt Father’s Day Morning Tea
We had an incredible celebration of our amazing fathers (and some mothers!) during our "My Dad is My Hero" Father's Day Morning Tea. The room was filled with love, laughter, and admiration as we recognized the heroes in our lives—our dads! To mark the occasion, our fathers joined us for a special morning tea, where our tamariki eagerly showed off their superhero dads.
We provided capes and masks, turning each father into a real-life superhero, and everyone enjoyed taking memorable photos together. The children’s faces lit up with pride as they shared this joyful moment with their dads. A heartfelt thank you to all the fathers (and mothers) who took time out of their busy schedules to join us for this event. Their presence made the celebration truly special, and it was heartwarming to see the love and excitement in our children’s eyes.
For many of them, their dads are not just a father, but a true hero who provides constant love, support, and guidance. We’re grateful for all that our fathers do, not only for ngā tamariki but for the entire community. The involvement our dads have in our lives create memories that will last a lifetime, and the unwavering support and unconditional love means the world.
