Here in Infant Island each day is full of excitement and wonder, we focus on supporting children's curiosity about the world around them and developing meaningful relationships with others around them.

During August we created a space indoors with sand so the children can play with sand if its wet outside. In the garden we have had many little creepy crawlies and kaiako have been confidently showing the children and building on their confidence to investigate their surroundings.

Developing meaningful relationships has been a big part in the Infant space as new tamariki join us. Kaiako are spending quality time building on these and introducing them to their peers to support their social and emotional wellbeing while in the room.
