This month we have been having so much fun!

We have been exploring our new sandpit and love using our diggers, trucks and containers to move, scoop, dig, tip and transport sand.

We have also been looking at adding water to the sandpit and seeing what water does to the sand – lots of laughs and smiles!

The water has also been cooling us down during our hotter days. We have also had a lot of excitement as we use our new art area outside – we have added Perspex to the fence for painting and messy play – all of our friends are loving it!

We have a big focus on learning new words at the moment – a few of our friends are loving sharing books, resources and animals with their friends and Kaiako – learning about colours, animals and numbers.

This month we have also celebrated Fijian Language Week as well as Wig Wednesday in support of the Child Cancer Foundation. A few of our pepe were not too keen on wearing a wig but those that did had a beautiful time.

We loved to see these beautiful coloured wigs and the big smiles - even our kaiako wore wigs! What a fantastic month we have had!
