Off we go to the Museum
At BestStart Vivian Street the sun was shining and there was a new exhibit at the Museum to explore so we grabbed our sunscreen and hats, put on our walking shoes and headed off for a bit of a treat.
When we got to Puke Ariki we were all excited to enter the exhibit and we all interacted with the different creations. There was so much social interaction, discussion, questioning and exploration as the children examined the moving parts of each creation. It was wonderful to be a part of the excitement as the children questioned what was happening with each creation.
What the children didn’t know to begin with, was that there was an extra surprise in order for them. Each Friday as we hikoi down to Puke Ariki, we pass a wonderful café called “The Dept”, today we had organised with their wonderful friendly staff, to all come in and share a fluffy together.
We brought our “A game” with us, and they gave us the most delicious fluffies, presented so very nicely and we all got the same looking fluffies.
