Our 5th Birthday Party!

On Friday the 30th of September, here at BestStart Kelvin Grove we celebrated our 5th Birthday!

We had a huge turnout of past and present families, past employees, others from our local BestStart community, lecturers from our local tertiary providers, and even some neighbours.

We unveiled our new Korowai with Kahn hanging it as he will be the next to graduate to school, so will be the first to wear it.

Kacie and Josh cut the cake because they have been with us the longest.  Kacie joined the centre when it opened in September 2017 and she is still teaching in the Koru (U2) Room. Josh has been with us since July 2018 when started at 10 months old and we also have his two younger siblings with us.

We all enjoyed a sausage sizzle, face painting, play dough and a groovy disco.

A night filled with aroha, manaaki, whanaungatanga and fun! Living our vision: "At one with child, whānau and community".
