Our art experiences
At BestStart Hei Hei, we strive to create an environment where our tamariki can explore, think and reflect on what they know and are coming to know (MÅhiotanga).
In the month of August, our pepi and nursery tamariki have been doing the same through a variety of art experiences.
Through these experiences, they have certainly been working on their fine motor skills, muscle and hand-eye coordination while expressing their creativity and ideas.
Our pepi have been experimenting with colours and textures while exploring the magic of mixing. Our tamariki loved this sensory experience, where they learnt how to make sense of what they saw and explored the cause and effect of different drawing tools and the patterns that emerged when they were used.
