At BestStart Foxton Beach Kindy we have an amazing science focus and through our Be School Ready initiative children are involved in science everyday. We are surrounded in science and opportunities to explore. We utilise our local environment and often visit the estuary, dunes and local forest. In these areas children are able to see and explore the world around them using their very own exploration kits, which contain magnifying glass, clipboard and specimen jars.

We often do other exciting science such as making bathbombs, seeing baking reactions, exploring slime, bubble play, sand play and water play. All of these areas offer valuable learning such as problem solving, the love of being involved and a builds a strong sense of belonging to our unique community.
