The fun burst out of our walls at Imagination Station. We took our fun to our local park and to our library! For our school holiday programme, tamariki created kites for Matariki and included as many colours as possible! We adventured to Vardon Park to do some kite flying, however as the wind did not pick up for us, we took over the playground like it was our castle. To finish off our morning, we had a scrumptious picnic in the sunshine. The second week, we sent our bookworms to St Andrews library to dive into the world of fairytales and myths. On the way back, our local bakery gifted our hungry tamariki goodies. To top off the holiday programme, we strapped on our tool belts and became apprentices for our Bunnings visitors, who helped us build and design wooden bird boxes!
