Our community garden
Our toddler tamariki have been getting amongst a new exciting project that we have started at BestStart Puketaha . We have started to create a community vegetable garden to serve our center whanau and community.
Our toddlers have been using our sandpit spades to help dig in the mulch and dirt into the gardens ready for planting. They have loved getting their hands dirty and being part of this project and it has given us the opportunity to support their learning about growing vegetables and mother nature! We are so excited about this project and love that our tamariki have become invested in it too!
