Here at BestStart Wainoni Road, our pēpi have been doing lots of mahi to get ready for a Merri Kirihimete, Merry Christmas!

We have been busy exploring the curriculum area of art, with lots of different textures and media to find ways to be creative and expressive. Our pēpi love using paints and have even made their own Christmas trees using paints and glitter. On another occasion they used papers to stick to wreaths in the way of collage as well as making collage baubles, terrific tau ke! We think you are so creative!

Exploring arts is a wonderful way for our pēpi to build their fine motor skills as they use different types of equipment and also discover ways to explore and express themselves freely.

Whanau have loved seeing their tamariki enjoy themselves in this creativity.
