Our creative toddlers
Over the month of October, the Toddler room tamariki at BestStart Tawa have been getting artistic and creative! The tamariki have been getting the opportunity to explore art with a variety of mediums and how we can create art in ways that are different from painting and drawing. As the children would get creative through ways such as play dough and building, the teachers would discuss with them how what they were doing was making art. This allowed the children to explore their creativity and expressiveness in different ways.
We were also able to get the construction table out again this month! We have been collecting resources for this lately to get it up and running again! The children loved getting into their high vis vests and hard hats to make sure they were safe in this area before they started using the hammer and nails! We can't wait to get this up and running on a regular basis!
