What an awesome celebration we had at Montessori Schoolhouse for Diwali, our children were beautifully dressed up, we feasted on traditional food and snacsk and there was lots of dancing.

Diwali, also known as Deepavali is an ancient Hindu festival of lights. This colorful five-day festival coincides with the Hindu New Year, celebrating new beginnings. As part of the celebration, people place hundreds of small oil lamps or diyas, around their homes! This year Diwali was celebrated on October 27th around the world.

Thank you to our lovely parents who contributed toward this and who participated with dancing, Henna drawing and coloring rangoli with children.
