Our Dress Up Disco
Today BestStart Manly held their first disco for 2019 where everyone was invited. The theme for the disco was 'dress ups'. We had superheroes, princesses, ballerinas, animals, and even police children dressed up ready to party. There were prizes for best dressed, including parents! We played some games of musical statues, had some shared picnic food and danced the night away. Disco lights, along with fairy lights were a hit, as was the music and dancing. What a great way to warm up in winter by having a dance. Our children got to dance with each other, their siblings joined in, and mums and dads got to know other parents too. Such a fun night with a real community feel.
