This year is our very first Christmas celebration at Shelly Bay. Before the party date we participated in many fun Christmas experiences, we incorporated loose parts into our activities, such as decorated a wooden shape tree and each day decorated it with various objects from natural materials, Lego blocks, red items, and puzzle pieces the creativity was endless! We used our imagination and painted using Christmas decorations, made an Elfie selfie, practiced our singing, and decorated our rooms.

 The party date arrived and Wow! What an amazing day we had celebrating Christmas with our whanau and friends. 

We had a bouncy castle an amazing face painter called Taffy who also made fun balloons for us.

We put on a fantastic show for our families singing Christmas songs together. 

Because we put on a great show Santa arrived bringing gifts for everyone, we were all so very excited! We then delved into a huge, shared lunch with great healthy food option and of course a few sweet treats!

The best part about the day was we were the smiles, laughter and excitement seen by everyone.

It was a very joyful day shared with loved ones.
