Our Garden at BestStart Merivale

A few months ago we planted some of the New World My Little Garden Plants. Since then, we have been talking about how we can respect the garden and allow our plants to grow. We then noticed that one of the vegetables was ready to pick, the swede. 

We gathered the children around and gave Paula some encouragement as she pulled it out as it was so big and heavy. The children took turns at holding it up and feeling how heavy it was!

We are so thankful to have Paula and Rhonda our go-to gardeners at our preschool. We look forward to eating more produce from our garden!
