At BestStart Napier Central we had a Matariki Glow Party to celebrate Matariki with our families. We had a wonderful night, with each of our rooms having a celebration of lights with Fairy lights, UV lights and disco lights. This was showing the link to the Matariki stars.

We had an open fire in the sandpit and we roasted some marshmallows and Bo made us a yummy soup, which the families contributed vegetables to create it. The Tahi room created a Glow in the dark wonderland where the children could explore with their parents and found glow in the dark treasures to take home.  It was an amazing event and we look forward to the next one.
