Our great big pink heart!
We had a great Friday celebrating PINK SHIRT DAY, we joined in on spreading the word about anti bullying for the Mental Health Foundation.
The tamariki came dressed in pink and all had a special sticker in Te Reo of encouraging words they can say to one another or have for themselves. We had some fun with pink face paint and the tamariki got pink hearts on their cheek to spread Te Aroha!
At 11am the whole Montessori centre came together to sing the peace song and perform our sign language 'paradise song' while sitting in a big heart. What a special time to come together to celebrate such an important cause.
