Each day had a different kaupapa, here is a small snippet of some of our days: - Dinosaur day: Being Scientists for a day is so much fun. Today we had opportunities to explore how to crystallize rocks, how to find and examine Dinosaur bones, how to dig to discover things about fossils, and how to make volcanoes. There is something about Science that really gets children;s minds thinking where they can predict and then discover the learning that happens right in front of them. "The important thing about questioning is to never stop questioning".(Albert Einstein)

Bike day: Vroom vroom! During our dry patches of the day we made the most of it as all our tamariki went outside to race around, and explore on their bikes. There was beautiful turn taking, sharing and alot of tuakana/teina: our older tamariki supporting our younger tamariki to ride their bikes, and also our tuakana learning to ride slower when approaching the younger tamariki. Ātaahua te kite ngā tamariki e mahitahi ana! Beautiful to see our tamariki working together!
