Our Matariki Celebration Manuroa
The tamariki at Manuroa have had a busy week celebrating Matariki.
They have been little cooks making rainbow soup with delicious healthy vegetables. The kaiako shared stories of the seven stars to share the treasured knowledge with the tamariki. Crafts were also popular with weaving and creating collage stars.
Through these experiences, we are actively promoting Te Reo and Tikanga Māori, which will enhance the sense of identity, well-being and belonging for our ākonga.
