Our new waiata
At BestStart South Road we celebrate everything that every tamaiti and whanau bring with them. Over the month of December, we have been exploring our partnership with Te Tiriti o Waitangi and what it means for us here at South Road. Our Kaiako have delved deeper into their own bicultural practices and our tamariki have responded with excitement, wonderment, and awe. Here is a video clip of our kaiako and tamariki practicing a new waiata that about the Atua. The sponges that they are, they have picked this up over the last two weeks and love sharing it with their whanau at home. We can't wait to see their maori arts skills flourish as we continue to explore the culture and offer enriching experiences for tamariki at BestStart South Road.
