Our children in Ngá Kakano room (babies’ room) were well engaged with the learning experience provided for them. They enjoyed writing session where they practiced holding a felt pen and used their imagination to draw. This helps our children to develop their pre literacy skills. We have also provided them with indoor and outdoor mat time where children enjoy nursery rhymes and reading books. Our babies also enjoy doing action songs while participating in the mat time and love to sing along.

Our children have also been playing with bubble wrap where they pop the bubbles by using their fingertips. This helps them to develop their fine motor skills and sensory skills.

The tamariki are also interested in art and craft and they love to do painting with bright colours. Our little babies are working well towards achieving their milestones.
