Our solar system
Over the past month the children have been learning about the solar system! The children have enjoyed mixing box construction with this focus and have been busy building a rocket ship and an astronaut costume to fly to the moon too! The children have also been learning about the individual planets and creating a wonderful wall display! This focus also links to Matariki. Matariki is about the Maori new year and the children have been learning about the importance of this special time of the year.
