Our Special Morning Tea

During the school term holidays we hold a very special morning tea at BestStart Roydvale. This event is where the children who have left the centre and started school are invited back into the centre for morning tea. It is an opportunity for the connections between the centre and school and the children and teachers to become stronger. The children who have started school can inspire the children at the centre with what they have to share about school. There is preparation for the event that the Preschool children are involved in. This includes writing children's names on an invite and adding some art to the invitation plus the envelope. The children also help to prepare the snack for morning tea.

It is such a wonderful event where the teachers, children and whanau can reconnect, hear stories about school and home , ask questions, inspire each other and enjoy each others company again.

We can not wait until next holidays to see our children who have gone to school again.
