Our special outdoor environment
Exciting changes in the Little Ferns outdoor environment!
Over the last couple of weeks, we have seen an amazing transformation of our outdoor environment. We got to see the builders and diggers in action, and once we were allowed back out, we saw the exciting new set-up.
We have a new sandpit, garden shed, and beautiful herb and vegetable garden.
Here at Montessori Mosgiel, we value sustainability and strive to do our bit toward this and help children gain more knowledge surrounding sustainability and caring for our environment.
We are excited to nurture these gardens and learn how to grow and harvest our own Kai here in little ferns.
The tamariki are learning all about respecting and being gentle with what we have planted and have been having turns at watering them. We look forward to sharing how we do this with the rest of the Montessori and whānau.
