Kaiako at BestStart Dey St took the opportunity to get out in the sunshine with a small group of Tamariki last week. Kaiako and Tamariki visited one of our teachers dairy farm where they explored and played with the baby calves, got to hop into the tractor and then went for a walk through the paddock to there whare where they got to play on the trampoline and had a picnic. Our Tamariki had a blast exploring all the different machinery, having an awesome spot for lunch in the sunshine and sharing their knowledge around a dairy farm and how a dairy farm runs. What a lovely adventure out into the community we had!
