Our visit to Remuera Library
Being invited by the local librarian, this morning our tamariki (children) at BestStart Meadowbank visited Remuera Public Library. In addition to the story telling session and free book reading, tamariki also joined a group colouring contest offered by one of the librarians. The trip not only extended tamariki understanding of the world in the wider community setting, their social literacy and language capacity were also expanded.
