Our water Pump
Today after last nights rain fall the children realized that our water pump finally had enough water in the barrel to work. Here they are experimenting with priming and using the pump, they collected the water in buckets, then tipped the water back into the barrel to reuse. We have lots of children with such inquisitive minds so it too a while to figure out how to make the pump work.
We talk a lot about water conservation here and this is also supported with our water collection drum that collects rain water from the Studio roof for the children to use in their play.
