Our wonderful Matariki Celebration
On the 17th of June 2020 BestStart Kauri Flats celebrated Matariki with a whanau gathering, we shared kai and had an awesome performance by our tamariki that we spent weeks practicing for.
Our children were all very excited to share the meaning of Matariki with their whanau as we prepared for the new year. We came together as one and had an amazing night, we had new and old families meeting and making friendships which were awesome.
We also held our amazing fundraising “Ko wai au-who am I” where our parents were able to silently bid for art work done by our children, we had incredible support and look forward to putting our funds to something awesome.
