The children in the Senior Room at BestStart Karaka have been learning about the world and which animals come from different parts of the world. This week we have set various provocations to support this learning, today we had a large group of children supported by their room teacher create the world with coloured water and sand. The children were fascinated with the shades of blue and how this looked so much like Earth as they explored this with animals from all around the world. This was a lovely way to explore our learning through play!
