It was the Summer Holidays 2026, and here at Parau Drive we provided a fun and engaging school holiday program for the children.

The program included a range of themed days such as Wacky Hair Day, Bike Day, Toy Day, PJ Day, Baking Day, Face Painting Day, Nature and Science Day, and a Summer Carnival Day!

These activities encouraged creativity, confidence, and active participation. Children developed physical skills through bike riding and movement activities, while social skills such as sharing, cooperation, and communication were strengthened through group play and interactions.

On Baking Day, the children baked carrot cakes and enjoyed them for afternoon tea, which made them feel proud and confident in their achievements. Nature and Science Day was very exciting, with children participating in volcano experiments and milk magic activities that encouraged curiosity and early scientific thinking.

Children were awarded certificates to recognise their efforts and participation. PJ Day provided a calm and comfortable environment that supported children’s emotional wellbeing and sense of belonging. The program also included a Summer Carnival Day where children enjoyed fun games and ice cream as a special treat.

Overall, the children showed great interest and enthusiasm in all activities planned by the teachers. The holiday program supported children’s learning and development in a fun, inclusive, and meaningful way while creating positive and lasting memories.
