Pepe Spa
As a team we have been looking at ways we can offer respectful and calm transitions from eating kai or playing to going to bed. We introduced the pēpe spa about a month ago which has been welcomed by both tamariki and their whānau. Attentive kaiako soak little feet in warm bubbly and gently perfumed water. Massage is offered for those who enjoy the soothing sense of touch. Pēpe then get comfy in either cosy space or on a knee to relax with a bottle or book before being supported to slitter into bed for a blissful sleep. This journey has been such an enjoyable addition to our infant room happenings. We look forward to extending our knowledge and skill in Baby Massage and sharing it with families in new ways.
