Picnic at the park
At BestStart Marchwiel we feel very blessed to have a great park just up the road from us! Today was the perfect day to take advantage of this fact by taking our lunch boxes and having a picnic on the lovely big field. With both The Cove and The Breakers (Nursery and Over Two's) going it was a great 'family feel' as we all enjoyed the beautiful warm weather as summer comes closer and closer.
Excursions like this one offer us many rich learning opportunities including the physical challenge of walking to and from the park and the bigger playground. We are able to practice our language skills as we communicate about what we are doing and what we can see around us. Experiences like this one also knit us closer together as we share, the experiences and enjoyment of simply being outside and away from the centre together.
