Pink Ribbon Breakfast at Montessori Taradale

Our wonderful Montessori Taradale community came together to show our support for Pink Ribbon Day (Breast cancer awareness) with a pink ribbon breakfast to raise money for breast cancer research. The children thought about who they would like to invite and proudly gave out invitations to Mums, Nanas, Grandmas, and Omas and waited excitedly for the day to arrive when whanau were joining us for breakfast at Montessori!
On the day of the event, everyone wore pink to show their support and we had fun decorating our place with beautiful pink decorations a few days beforehand. The breakfast was a hit with everyone enjoying the yummy food together. Pink Ribbon Day was a huge success! Our community came together to support a great cause, and we raised a significant amount of money to donate to breast cancer research. It was heartwarming to see the children in our centre get involved, learn about, and want to support a cause that affects so many women - young and old.
