Pink Shirt Day 2021

Today at BestStart Totara Park we celebrated Pink Shirt Day which is about working together to stop bullying, promoting kindness and inclusivity, and celebrating diversity.

The Toddler and Preschool Rooms made banners and decorated the rooms, while also baking some delicious cookies
We bought our rooms together to get a group photo while throwing some confetti in the air which the kaiako and tamariki thoroughly enjoyed as it provided a great opportunity to socialise with those from separate rooms.

In the Infant room we celebrated the day with some pink playdough, played with lots of pink balloons, ate some yummy cookies with pink icing that our preschool friends baked for us, and of course spent the day being kind to each other and having lots of fun.
