The Piwakawaka classroom (nursery, children aged 0-2) went for a hīkoi to the St Albans park.
This provided so much fun exploring the area. Unfortunately part of the playground was under renovation but we can’t wait to see what it looks like when it is all finished. We enjoyed a picnic with some yummy scones to fill us up for all the running and climbing we were about to do!
The tamariki loved walking up the hill, which provided a great challenge of balance and coordination and then going backwards down the slide, zooming all the way to the bottom! What a busy morning we had and now everyone is ready for a nap!
