Planting a Kōwhai tree
This afternoon our tamariki watched a show called Plant a Seed.
They were absolutely enthralled and engaged as they followed the story of a seed that grows into a kōwhai tree. There were lots of laughs! Ngā tamariki are experiencing an environment where they learn different ways to be creative and expressive and other ways to tell stories.
Afterwards, we planted pansy seeds in the garden to affirm and make learning meaningful. I wonder if they will grow?
Do children help in the garden at home?
