Playball fun!
At Silverdale BestStart we offer Playball to our tamariki once a week.
Our children love these sessions; through this, they develop their gross motor skills, spatial awareness, balance and coordination through fun games and activities.
The sessions encourage turn-taking, waiting and perseverance. Each week a child is awarded a medal for great listening, participation and co-operation.
There are so many new skills being learnt and development happening here. As well as playball, our tamariki are supported by our teachers and given many opportunities in which they can learn through active exploration and develop confidence and control in their bodies.
