Pre Writing
In the preschool room we have been focusing a lot on developing fine motor skills. Fine motor skills are a great lead into pre writing and support children as they develop hand eye coordination, while strengthening the muscles in their hands!
The children have enjoyed pattern and print making through writing on white boards and painting. We have also explored a lot of scooping and pouring experiences and employing the use of stickers! All these experiences the children love, they demonstrate fantastic focus and concentration as they master these crucial skills.
