Preschool's visit to Somerfield School

Recently our preschool classroom went on an excursion to Somerfield School.  We were invited to attend their Kapa Haka performance in celebration of Matariki.  Some students at Somerfield School buddied up with our children and helped them to paint some rocks in the classroom, we then had morning tea and a play on the big playground.  Our children walked to the school with the help of parent volunteers and our teachers. They really enjoyed the experience of being out and about together in our wider community.
