Rainbows in our room
Since returning from lockdown nga tamariki have continued to enjoy lots of different arts, moving to the music, puppets, creativity through art and recently expressing themselves through ribbons/ scarves. The recently purchased ribbons have been creating colourful rainbows around the room. We have moved them up and down, left and right, around, twists, squiggles, high and low, and fast and slow. Depending on the music playing we have let our bodies move the way the music makes us feel. The children often ask for the music to be put on or just move the ribbons around to their own beat.
