Each Year BestStart Raureka takes great pride in supporting and raising funds for Plunket’s Annual “1000 Days to Raise a Bundle” campaign. Over the years we have hosted a range of successful events with the support of our centre whānau and community.

This year we hosted a community auction. We received a wide range of wonderful donations from our local businesses in which helped raise $4182 for our local Plunket. This yearly event brings joy and excitement as we plan and celebrate this wonderful cause.

Our amazing children are at the forefront of this event with lots of fun games and activities that demonstrates and underpins our centre Philosophy of whānaungatanga (relationships).

We started our day by dressing in blue, our children always love a dress up day.  We had a special visit from BestStart’s CEO Tony Ryall and our local Hawkes Bay Paper.  In the evening our wonderful whanau joined us for a fun filled evening of eating, laughing and friendly bidding. (was so much fun)

We would like to thank all our amazing whānau, local businesses and community for the support and aroha they give us, especially during this event.
