Reconnecting with our friends at Beckenham Primary
A lot of our children leave for school to go to Beckenham Primary School. Today we took most of our four-year-old children to Beckenham Primary school to visit the new entrance classroom. The children were able reconnect with friends that have recently started at school. Reconnecting and making the school feel more familiar. We were given a chance to have a good play and explore the classroom too. This experience helped our tamariki to not only make connections with our wider community. A value we place importance on here at Beststart Cashmere. But they were able to see that starting school isn't too scary. In fact it was a lot like going to preschool.
