The Children of BestStart Papakura East Kindy had an amazing day at Massey Park for the Annual Beststart Bestshot Sports Day. 

Arriving by bus alongside all their friends and parent helpers was a highlight for our tamariki, smiley faces were seen by all, dressed in their red winiata warriors t-shirts and warrior paint we were on for a fun day of sports.

The sun was shinning the attitudes fierce ready to take to the  track, the race was on. They competed in many different activities from running races, hurdles, obstacle course, field hockey and of course the relay between all the centres.  Our tamariki were excited to take that one out! 

We all had an absolutely wonderful time being physically active, strengthening gross motor skills and having a great day with other centres in our Community.
