Returning to BestStart Redwood after lockdown
With the South Island moving to level 2, the majority of our tamariki have returned to the centre with great enthusiasm and energy!
Recently there has been an interest in building and construction and the teaching team decided to bring in some new materials to support this learning. In came some bamboo sticks, rope and sheets. We began with discussing how these materials could be put together and stay up for the children to then play in.
As you can see the projects resulted in tents that were then used during the day. Later in the week when it was raining they were brought inside.
